Our friends and leaders here in Ireland, Brian and Judith Somerville, started a new chapter yesterday. The past few years, Brian has been on the executive pastoral team with Open Arms Church (our home church in Dublin). He preached a million times, developed leaders, facilitated team growth, and mentored several of the staff who were new in ministry. To say he’s had a tremendous impact would be an understatement. All the while, he has also been serving as the CCI national leader (the AG in Ireland).
This past Sunday we prayed for Brian and Judith as they turn the page in ministry. As they continue as national leaders with CCI, they have also taken the lead pastor role at Grace Generation Church in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. We’re praying for many great days ahead and a smooth transition!
Katy and I have been so blessed to connect with these two over the past few years. They are great people with great vision and even greater hearts for people and for seeing the church in Ireland grow more and more. They have also been so encouraging and supportive of Zoe Community and the work God has brought us here to do in Ireland. Join me in praying for them in the coming weeks as they settle into the new role, new routine, and new season.
