This past week, our first annual Zoe Golf Tournament was a tremendous success!
Katy was able to attend, share the heart of Zoe Community, and thank everyone who made the day possible. Her mom even came up to help! As both a fundraising event and a celebration of partnership between Zoe and so many in Oklahoma, it far exceeded our expectations.
We had 92 players register, sponsors kept piling in, and we were able to raise nearly double what we had hoped for. Every penny will help expand what God has been doing through Zoe in Ireland over the coming year.
I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Pastor Jason Taylor and The Bridge Church in Piedmont. Without Jason and his team, this tournament simply would not have happened. They worked tirelessly on logistics, player recruitment, sponsorships, and so much more. Thank you!
So many churches and businesses got involved, and we are unbelievably grateful for every single one of you. And, of course, thank you to all the players and sponsors. It’s a beautiful thing when friendships and partnerships come together to accomplish something bigger than ourselves. Together, we’re believing to see God move in the lives of women in crisis in Ireland. The need is great, but God has gathered incredible people in both the US and Ireland to help accomplish this mission.
We still have much more fundraising ahead this year and next to meet all our goals, but we are so thankful for what God did through this important milestone event. We’re taking time to celebrate and give thanks before gearing up for what’s next.
Already excited for next year’s tournament!
