Unshamed 2026 has come to a close, and we’re leaving with a deep sense of gratitude for what happened in the room.
Our numbers were smaller than we had hoped. But something became clear very quickly: the women who came were women who genuinely needed the space. Women carrying stories they had never told. Women wrestling with shame, grief, faith, loss and questions about what might still be possible. Women looking for hope, healing and community.
And stories began to emerge.
Several women were given the opportunity to tell their story for the first time. New friendships formed. There were moments of unexpected connection — women brought together by circumstances that could never have been planned, but somehow found each other in that room, answering prayers in a deep and profound way.
Our content team did an extraordinary job of guiding us through the story of Lazarus, exploring what it means for our own lives: the things that bind us, the labels we carry, the healing that takes time, and the voice of Jesus that still calls us towards life.
None of this happened by accident.
You prayed. You gave. You made the gathering possible.
And the work doesn’t end when the weekend does.
If you’ve been praying for Unshamed, please keep praying — for the women who came, for the stories that were shared, and for what happens next.
If you’d like to help us continue creating spaces like this for women across Ireland, there are two primary ways to help. You can join our monthly support team here. This keeps Katy and I in Ireland working full time to run Zoe Community as well as Unshamed events. You can also give through our annual golf tournament by sponsoring, playing, or both! Stay tuned for golf tournament info in the coming months.
Thank you for believing that women’s stories matter, that honest faith has a place here, and that something new can still begin through the power, grace, and goodness of Jesus.
You helped make Unshamed happen. Thank you for praying and giving! Together, we will help it continue.
