This past week marked two years since Zoe Community officially launched. And there's no better way to celebrate than what happened at our office on the day of our anniversary.
On the day we launched Zoe, we had a guest walk through our doors looking for help. It was one of those moments that made the whole thing feel very real. This wasn't just an idea, a vision, or an organisation we were building. There was a woman standing in front of us who needed someone to listen and help her navigate what she was facing.
We’ve had many guests come since our initial launch, but today, exactly two years later, we had yet another guest show up at our office needing help.
I couldn't have planned a better way to celebrate our anniversary.
For two years, we've been working to create a place where women facing unexpected pregnancy can find compassion, practical support, and hope. We've trained volunteers, built relationships with churches, hosted events, launched our Live Chat, and continued learning what it means to serve women and families well.
But at the heart of everything is the person who walks through the door. The woman who needs someone to listen. The woman who doesn't know what to do next. The woman who may feel completely alone.
Two years in, we're reminded again why Zoe exists.
We don't know what the next two years will hold, but we know what we're praying for: that more women will find a safe place to turn, more churches will become places of practical support, and more people will discover how they can be part of creating a culture of compassion around unexpected pregnancy.
Thank you for praying, giving, volunteering, encouraging, and believing in Zoe.
Two years down. We're just getting started.
