It's finally here—Unshamed Conference week!
After months of planning, conversations, emails, meetings, and plenty of details that most people will never see, we're excited to welcome women from across Ireland for this year's conference.
Unshamed exists because we believe there is a crucial need in Ireland for conversations about shame that will build both courage and compassion. We want to equip people to respond well—to listen well, serve well, and create communities where women and families know they have somewhere to turn.
This week we'll be bringing together people from different churches, organisations, and backgrounds who share a desire to see women and families supported well. In our sessions there will be worship, scripture-based messages, as well as real and honest stories.
We're especially looking forward to the conversations that happen between sessions. Often, the most exciting things that come from a conference aren't on the schedule. They're the introductions, ideas, and "we should talk about this" conversations that happen in the hallway.
So, if you've been praying for Unshamed, this is the week!
Pray for safe travel for everyone attending, wisdom for our speakers and team, and meaningful conversations throughout the day.
Most of all, pray that the impact of Unshamed will extend far beyond the event itself—that these women will return to their churches and communities with new ideas, renewed vision, and practical ways to support each other as well as their families and communities.
We'll have plenty to share with you in the weeks ahead, but for now, we're excited to get started.
