Being a missionary is tough. It can be incredibly lonely. The travel for fundraising gets especially lonely driving and flying thousands of miles by myself. But there are many moments along the way that make it all worth it.
I am proud to be an Assemblies of God Ordained Minister. Our movement was birthday by a move of the Holy Spirit, prompting a group of men and women to build the greatest missions force the world has ever seen. I’m not sure if we’ve reached that lofty goal, but I can tell you, we are some of the best equipped and supported missionaries in the world.
And my favorite part of being AG is coming back home to Oklahoma to see my friends and family. As I attended this year’s annual Oklahoma AG minister’s conference (Better Together), I was reminded again of our great leadership, our unstoppable passion for missions, and some of the greatest friendships I could ask for. Seeing you in person makes the long road of itineration feel a little bit shorter.
You are not simply supporters to Katy and I. We are teammates, partners, and friends. We are grateful to each and everyone of you. Thank you!
