In Ireland, the Assemblies of God is called Christian Churches Ireland (CCI). Katy and I have had the privilege of being connected with CCI our entire time here. In fact, when it was still called Assemblies of God Ireland, we sat with their leadership team before deciding to move. With their blessing and invitation, we committed to Ireland as long-term missionaries. We’re so grateful to have this movement behind us and supporting us through these years.
CCI is a dynamic movement that continues to grow in health, wisdom, and innovation. Within the worldwide AG network, I rarely hear other missionaries share experiences as positive as ours. Don’t get me wrong—there are many healthy national church movements around the world. I’m just saying Ireland might be the best of them all. (I may be a little biased.)
This past week our church, Open Arms, had the privilege of hosting a regional CCI meeting in our brand new Sandyford location. I got to help with sound and run lights—so fun! We’re incredibly blessed to have a home church able to host gatherings like this, and it was great seeing familiar faces we’ve come to know and love. Many of them partner with us in Zoe Community (including one of our board members who pastors a CCI church in West Dublin).
God has truly blessed us with a network of people we walk alongside—people we support and who support us.
And because you pray and give to our ministry, you’re part of this too. You’re connected to the wider CCI family and the church plants launching across Ireland (two just in the last month!).
Thank you for praying. Thank you for giving. Together, we’re making a difference in the nation of Ireland! 🇮🇪
