Back to Dublin

This is officially the final post of #EdgmonTour15. We are now back in Dublin getting settled in to our new house. (If you don't remember, we had to move house the day before we left for the US.) Let me give you a short recap of our last few months.

Seven states, 6,000 miles, 22 services, and dozens of coffee meetings later we can say that it was a busy but successful trip. While we made sure to fit in plenty of family time, our primary goal was to raise ministry funds for the next season of ministry. We believe we hit our minimum goal. Praise the Lord! We will, however, need to eventually reach our maximum goal, but for now we are feeling great about the future.

We want to be available to whatever God is asking us to do. To that end, we will continue to build this ministry fund as strong as possible. Whether you are currently on our support team or not, it is not too late to help us build this ministry fund.

God has already provided in a big way, therefore we are believing for very big things. And we will continue to look forward to His provision, that we might make His name known on the university campuses of Ireland.

Thank you for all your prayers and support. It has truly been one of the toughest few months since Eden was born. Your encouragement and spiritual investment provides the foundation from which the ministry funds given can be used for God's glory.

HUGE shout out to this little guy. He travelled nearly every mile we did, to nearly every church. He did great!

We are Thankful

The last crazy week (I hope) has come and gone. Another busy but great few days seeing supporters and friends. We made our way down to First Assembly of God in Chandler, TX, then spent a couple of days with family in Houston. Katy and Eden headed to Baton Rouge to be with her mother, and I flew back to OKC. In OKC I went to Spring Creek AG in Edmond., had great connection time with both OU and OSU Chi Alpha directors, and saw friends at Davenport AG.

At Spring Creek, Pastor McCaslin spoke on Philippians 4:6-7. It was an encouraging message reminding us, in the midst of anxiety, to bring our requests to God "with thanksgiving". This past month has been one of the most stressful and exhausting seasons of our life. In light of this encouraging word, I decided it would be good to list five things in this season for which we are thankful.

  1. We are thankful for time with our family and friends.
  2. We are thankful for the opportunity to share about Ireland to so many people.
  3. We are thankful for Eden. He has been so great through this crazy season.
  4. We are thankful for our marriage. We have grown closer through the stress.
  5. We are thankful for you...for all your prayers and support.
