Dream 2013

This past week Katy and I attended our second Dream conference.

Dream is the annual Assemblies of God Ireland conference where pentecostal churches come from the North, South, East, and West to worship God in unity and encourage one another in our call to impact this nation. We were blessed once again by the times of worship and conversations with old and new friends from all across this wonderful nation.

We are so blessed to be in Ireland under the Assemblies of God Ireland. AGI is a dynamic movement committed to reaching the island of Ireland by strengthening local churches, raising up leaders, and planting churches. We are honored to be a part of this growing, dynamic movement.

Check out the highlights from Dream 2013!

An Alternative Easter Rising

Our second event on campus at Trinity College Dublin (TCD) was a great success. The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for university students to learn more about Easter. For these events we partner with Julian Hamilton, the Methodist Chaplain at TCD, as well as the Chapel Group, the young adult ministry at St. Mark's Church. We are so blessed to work with these talented people.

With approximately 30 students in attendance, it was a wonderful evening celebrating the greatest event in history. Through images, videos, music, and words we tried to bring the story of Easter to life. While we are in the process of planting this ministry, these events have been a huge help to us in learning the culture and how university students of Dublin respond to the story of God. Jools and the students involved did an amazing job.

Thank you so much for your prayers. God is continually opening doors for our ministry here in Dublin.

Our 2nd Event in Ireland

Please be in prayer for us this week. We will be holding our second event on campus Wednesday evening.

The Alternative Easter Rising is an evening meant to explain Easter using images, music, and words that will connect with and inspire university students of Dublin. In addition to songs about Jesus' death and resurrection, there will be videos and even an interpretive dance to bring meaning and power to the evening!

It will be held in the Chapel at Trinity College Dublin at 7pm Wednesday evening. Pray that it goes smoothly and effectively. Please also pray that the Christians students who attend would bring friends to hear about the love of Christ.

We're so excited to be here during this season and thrilled to be working on this event with our friend, Jools Hamilton. Thanks to all who have been supporting us as we've made the journey thus far!
