Gary and Wilma Davidson are legends in Ireland (and pretty much everywhere else they go). They planted St. Mark’s Church, sent out numerous church plants, and helped spark the birth of AG Ireland (now CCI). Today, they oversee all Oklahoma AG Network missionaries—including us.
Recently, they visited our Dublin church home, Open Arms Church in Sandyford. Gary preached, they prayed over people, and we had the opportunity to honor them.
My favorite moment came when Gary said, “You are our grandchildren.”
After planting St. Mark’s, Gary and Wilma sent a couple to Newbridge to plant the original Open Arms Church. Open Arms Sandyford was later planted from the Newbridge campus. They walked into our church not only as pioneers, but as people seeing the tangible fruit of seeds planted decades ago—a legacy that will continue multiplying for generations.
That’s how the Kingdom of God works: multiplication, generational discipleship, and lives transformed beyond what we can see.
I’m grateful that you and I are on this journey together. We are helping women today, but the impact reaches far beyond the present. Every woman helped is also a child helped. Every woman and child helped is a family impacted. Every family impacted creates opportunities for generations to encounter the love of God.
You and I may never be considered legends, but together we are building a legacy for God’s glory. Future legends, leaders, pastors, missionaries, and world-changers may be born and thrive because a group of people chose to serve, give, pray, and trust God to work.
Thank you for walking with us. Thank you for your support and prayers.
