Something is stirring in Ireland. In Zoe Community we are seeing more and more broken, hurting women coming on to our live web chat to speak with volunteers. In Open Arms (our home church here), we are seeing a greater hunger for God.
This past week I (Blake) had the privilege of helping to train 14 of our worship leaders in our brand new South Dublin location. Coming out of covid our Dublin team had to be rebuild beginning with only myself and one other young worship leader. Since then we’ve seen our teams grow to now having 14 passionate worship leaders. In fact, this past weekend our South Dublin team had a powerful breakthrough. They led our congregation through a powerful service experiencing an intense presence of God in the place…and I wasn’t on stage. I helped with sound in the first service, but the second service I actually got to sit with my family! (That is very rare for me these past few years.)
This has been and always will be our vision. What we see happening in the Open Arms worship team is what we pray to see in Zoe Community. Our goal is to establish the ministry work under the Holy Spirit’s leading, then train faithful Irish leaders to whom we will pass the ministry to at the appropriate time. It’s 2 Timothy 2:2 in action.
We are honoured to be called to Ireland. We are seeing this great hunger for God impacting Zoe Community, our weekend church services and the hearts of our leaders throughout the church. God is up to something. You and we are lucky enough to be part of it! Thank you!!
