Mary Needs You

As we continue preparations for our Unshamed Conference I want to tell you about Mary (name changed to protect privacy). Mary grew up in and around church, but for whatever reason she never fully connected with God. The gospel just hadn’t made it from her head down to her heart.

We had the privilege of hosting Mary at our first conference where she made a decision to follow Jesus. As the things she’d heard her entire life finally came together and made sense in her spirit, she chose to stand up and walk with the Lord as she left that hotel in September of 2023. Today she is hosting her own radio show on a local Christian radio station and is volunteering at our conference to help other women experience the hope she found!

Missionary Renewal

We spent the last 10 days in Springfield, MO at what we call “Missionary Renewal”. MR is an event we are required to attend every five years or so to reconnect with other Assemblies of God World (AGWM) missionaries, touch base with headquarter peeps, and update on certain training materials. We even learned a bit of self-defense! I (Blake) will be practicing these techniques with the boys next time they get a little wild. They like to pick on me. Pray for me.

We had a wonderful time reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, catching up with mentors and leaders, and being refreshed by the Holy Spirit alongside hundreds of other missionaries serving around the world. There were over 100 new missionaries commissioned to “go unto all the world”! Amazing!! It’s important to remember that we are part of something bigger than ourselves. We are so thankful for our AGWM leadership and specifically our leadership over the Europe Region of missionaries.

We (you and I) work together to see God do amazing things in Ireland. We are also connected to the larger AGWM missions family and what God is doing around the world. It’s beautiful!

Fam Time

We are on our way for some missionary meetings in Springfield, MO at the AGWM headquarters. But FIRST we stopped to hang with my (Blake’s) fam. BOOM!

After our week in Springfield, we will be heading to Louisiana to see Katy’s fam, then on to OK to see more fam and raise some support for Zoe. We will be at North Church in Oklahoma City on July 10th (evening services) and 13th (morning services) if you’d like to come hang out with us! We’re so grateful for each and every one of you.
