Prayers on Saturday

We’d love for you guys to be in prayer for this Saturday. We have been invited by the YWCA to share the story of Zoe at their pastoral care training event that day. Katy is preparing to share about her personal story as well as on God’s heart for community.

Please be praying for the people who will be attending this training. Pray for the university students who are on the fence about coming, that God would speak to them. Also, pray that Katy will have the best, most life-giving words to share.

Update on Zoe

Lots happening lately! Two weeks ago, the solicitor received all of our initial paperwork to get charity status for Zoe Community. Katy saw the accountant today to go over the budget - for legal reasons, the government’s charity regulatory officials need to know that our organization has a plan. Last week, a new board member joined our team...exciting stuff! We are also in the process of preparing application forms for a few key leadership roles with Zoe. We’ve been talking with an Irish Christian radio station and a Christian magazine to start advertising these positions with them.

   Here’s how you can pray:

  • God will bring us closer to him each day and continue to encourage us on a personal level

  • God would bring us to the right people to work with us

  • The advertising we use will be well worth the expense

  • God will give us wisdom and patience to know how to prioritize tasks

Thanks for being a part of our team!

Family Update

Hi All! A quick update on what is up with the Edgmon family:

Eden has emerged from Christmas vacation and gotten back into the swing of school again. He is doing very well in school and reading anything he can lay eyes on. Eli is happily playing and learning new things every day. He knows his numbers and colors and is the biggest dinosaur fan out there (he even takes them with him at bedtime). Katy is busy working on the next steps for our new ministry initiatives - seeing a lawyer to help with government-required paperwork and meeting with new potential team members. She’s also working on learning to knit (photo evidence…let’s say, it’s unavailable right now). Blake is busy working to grow and strengthen the worship team at St. Marks. He is also putting together new ideas to help equip worship leaders around the country.

The daffodils are blooming and the sun is out. Spring is just around the corner! God is birthing new things in our hearts. Stay tuned for more news in the weeks to come
