2017

You can't really do a new year's post without a few goals or something. Here are three things we're looking forward to in 2017 and three goals we have for 2017.

We are looking forward to...

  1.  ...watching our boys continue to grow and develop.
  2. ...working hard to do what God has asked us to do.
  3. ...waiting and seeing what God will do through this brand new year.

Goals we have for 2017:

  1. We hope to see our family grow closer to each other and closer to God.
  2. We hope to see Katy's health restored to 100%.
  3. We hope to see our ministry continue to take shape in tangible, measurable ways.

Thank you to being on our team. If you give and/or pray, you are on this team. Together we will accomplish what God has called us to in Ireland.

We're so excited to see what He will do in 2017!

Happy Christmas from the Edgmons!

We don't have any huge updates today. We're trying to focus on family time, and I know you are too.

Katy, Eden, Eli, and myself would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas this year. May your Christmas and New Year festivities be safe and full of friends & family. We appreciate you all so much. Without you love, prayers, and support we wouldn't be able to do what we do.

Thank you and Happy Christmas!

Christmas and Steroids

First, we thank you for your prayers. This past Sunday was our church's Christmas outreach event. It went so well! There was a giant group of people helping to pull it off, and they worked so hard. Well over 800 people came in to hear and experience the story of Christ, many for the first time.

Second, we appreciate your continued prayers. You may have seen on Facebook this past week that Katy had a possible relapse of MS symptoms. She developed a mild case of optic neuritis, causing her vision to deteriorate in her left eye. After a six hour visit to the A&E (emergency room for our American readers), she was diagnosed and prescribed intense IV steroid treatments.

The first of three treatments was today, and it went smoothly. The pain in her eye has subsided. We are praying that her vision will return as normal soon. Her remaining treatments are tomorrow and Wednesday around two o'clock. Please pray for complete restoration and no side effects.

Meanwhile, we are happy to be slowing down into a great week of Christmas festivities! Katy's mom is here, and we are looking forward to a relaxing week.

Thank you so much for all your prayers and support. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas with friends and family.
