Shawnee and Wetumka

This weekend's travels took us to two great churches, who have both been consistent and encouraging supporters since the day we left for Ireland.

First, we spoke for two services at Shawnee Praise Assembly of God. Pastors Kevin and Krissy Jennings are close, personal friends and the people of Praise AG have always been incredibly kind to us. It was such a wonderful morning.

Second, we spoke for the evening service of Wetumka First Assembly of God. Pastors Curt and Misty Bellinger have been an encouraging voice in our lives since their days as Chi Alpha pastors at Oklahoma State University. As usual, we had great conversation and enjoyed giving updates to the people of Wetumka First.

Last time around Katy and I both shared about our ministry, and, when asked, I (Blake) would share a message. However, this time I am sharing about our ministry, and Katy is sharing an incredible message interlaced with stories from our ministry in Ireland.

Thank you for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray specifically for our support raising journeys. Together we will make a difference in the lives of the university students of Dublin, Ireland.

Jay, Oklahoma

We were honored to be apart of the services at Jay, OK this past weekend. Pastors Chad and Julie Allred are longtime friends and amazing pastors. The people of Jay 1st were so loving and welcoming. We were treated like royalty.

I had the privilege of leading worship and Katy spoke an amazing message on being "All In". (She is an awesome speaker.) I also got to meet with some of their worship team later in the afternoon. It's always a joy for me to invest in worship teams, helping them think through theology, strategy, structure, etc.

A massive thank you to Pastor Chad, Julie, and all the amazing folks at Jay 1st Assembly. It's an honor to have you on our team. We left feeling encouraged and energized for the what's ahead.

I also attended the OKAG men's retreat, Main Event, this past weekend. It was a wonderful time connecting with friends from all over Oklahoma. Thanks to Darren Pilcher for creating an opportunity for men to grow in their purpose and potential for God.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. It's wonderful to see family and friends on this trip, but it's tough being away from Ireland during a college semester. We will continue to keep you posted on our quick tour through the U.S.

#EdgmonTour15

We officially wrapped up the first weekend of our whirlwind tour through the U.S. Having completed our first term in Ireland, we are now preparing to begin our second. Our primary goal for this trip is to raise ministry funds that will help us fulfill all the opportunities that God will give us. When we post updates about our trip, we will be using the hashtag "#EdgmonTour15". We invite you to keep up with our journey and even join in the conversation!

Our first stop this past weekend was in Indian, PA at The Summit Church. We had such a great time with Pastors Mel and Kim Masengale, who are longtime friends. They, along with the Summit Church family, were so kind, welcoming, and encouraging. They even had grace for our ridiculous jetlag (by "our" I mean Eden's). It was the perfect place to begin our travels.

So thank you Summit Church. Thank you Mel and Kim. We are so honoured to have you on the team as we all work to see university students in Ireland blessed by the Gospel of Jesus.

Oklahoma...here we come.
