Katy and I are so grateful for our friends here in Dublin. The other day they threw us a surprise baby shower.

The semester has officially ended. We are busy preparing for next school year and for our baby boy to join us next month!
During this time of preparation Katy and I are reflecting on how God has miraculously opened doors and provided for us to be in Ireland. There is no way we could be here without the hand of God guiding us. We are blessed to be a part of this team God has put together for such a time as this.
You see, Katy and I are simply two people in a large team committed to seeing God's will done in the lives of college students throughout Ireland. There are people all across the US and other parts of the world praying specifically for Students for Christ Ireland. There are people all over the world giving financially to propel the Gospel on the university campuses of Dublin.
To those of you praying and giving consistently, no words can describe our gratitude. We are humbled to be on this team with you that God has assembled for this call to Ireland. Without your consistent commitment we couldn't be here.

SFC Connect Conference
We believe that the most effective way to reach the university is by students reaching students. We believe God has given Christian university students a unique ability and calling to reach fellow students on their campus. It's a window of opportunity they will only have for a few short years of their lives.
"And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14
Because we believe in our students, we put great effort into preparing them for the task that lies before them. Campus pastors from all over Europe with Students for Christ pour heart and soul into an annual conference called Connect.
Connect is held every July. This year it will be near Cologne, Germany. I've seen no greater use of 10 days to inspire, encourage, and equip students to fulfill the Great Commission during their university years. With the right tools in their hands and passion in their hearts, a seemingly impossible task becomes suddenly attainable in the lives of university students all over Europe.
